Vintage Ski Glasses

Dope sunscreen for your eyes.

Sunglasses are like sunscreen for your eyes. You need to wear them all the time while outside, even in the shade and on cloudy days. Not all sunglasses are the same, but generally any UV protection is better than no protection. But here’s the exciting part, and we would like to think this is a trend we started: vintage ski glasses.

The 80s were a fantastic era for ski glasses. They were designed for extreme UV protection on the slopes, and though they didn’t have the technology sunglasses do today, they’re awesome. We found this pair at a vintage ski store online. We’re not suggesting vintage ski glasses should be your every day go-to, but when you want to make a statement, you’ll be glad they’re in your arsenal.

For primaries, we like Caddis glasses. Our current favorites are Root Cause Analysis progressives in matte gopher, and Metamodernist Scout progressives in matte vintage black.

Now get out there and protect your eyes awesomely.
