There are five pillars of skin care: an internal routine, and external routine, stress management, sleep and protection.

Your external routine should be designed by an esthetician with experience in your individual skin. At the very least, advice from an esthetician who understands your skin issues will get you headed in the right direction.
Stress is a killer, and it greatly effects your skin. Meditate, learn to let go, get good to yourself, and simply refuse to accept additional stress. Easier said than done, but we will cover that later.
Getting enough sleep is critical. Maybe you function best with seven hours, maybe nine. Rearrange so you and your skin get the sleep you need to combat functional issues throughout your day.
When it comes to protection, always wear sunscreen. Even using something like Powerful Beauty that increases your UV resistance an average of 85% after 8 weeks isn’t enough. Use a mineral based (no chemicals) sunscreen at the end of every morning skin routine.
