Kiwi the Intern

How old dogs enrich our lives.

Meet our intern Kiwi. She is an amazing dog, who has overcome quite a bit in her 12 years, and she’s come to work, play and mostly sleep with us as long as she can.

General health is paramount, and the biggest influence on skin health. Dog owners tend to live longer than non-owners, and they often recover better from major health events such as a heart attack or stroke. Simply petting a dog lowers blood pressure as well as many medicines.

Dog ownership also provides many mental health benefits such as a decrease in loneliness, increased self-esteem, and lower rates of depression. Having a dog in your life is a fantastic health boost, so if you can’t own a dog, find one to spend time with – being a pet sitter is rewarding.

In our opinion, older dogs are the most rewarding. They already have stories and experiences, a more chill disposition, and can teach as much as they learn.

Old dogs are amazing people, go out and hug one today and feel the magic.
